Will Reading Books Ever Make A Comeback?
As society continues to adopt new technologies and adapt to the digital era, research shows fewer people are reading books than ever before.
I'm sure some of this has to do with the daily grind and our lives becoming busier and busier by the day.
The other thing I've noticed is were becoming a society of video watchers instead of readers.
So, with that said will books ever make a comeback?

Fewer People Are Reading Books
With more streaming options than we can count and any sort of digital media imaginable at our fingertips, the idea of sitting down and reading a book seems a little bit outdated.
I stumbled across this study the other day on the Gallup website.
They investigated the dwindling number of people reading books, and here's a glimpse of their findings.
- The average number of books read has dwindled quite heavily over the years.
- The number of readers seems to have stayed fairly consistent, but the number of books read per year has decreased.
- College graduates have shown the largest decline in the number of books that they read.

The Future Of Books
It's hard to tell exactly what the future has in store in terms of reading and books.
It's so easy to become inundated with mindless media that it often seems like a challenge to pick up a book and start reading.
I can only speak for myself, but I'm certainly going to try to integrate books back into my life and make it a point to do a little more reading in the near future!
