The news is full of companies jumping on the plant based food hype and are constantly trying to one up each other to come up with the latest and greatest. Beyond Meat, Impossible Foods and Morning Star Farms are some of the most common.

Now you can add one more to the list.  Although the company has not been officially named yet, the scientist, Doctor R. Yu Foold said that he expects his product to be the #1 seller in the United States very soon.

Dr. Foold has created a 100% plant based mashed potato that looks, feels and tastes just like all of the other mashed potatoes in the market.  Why is his better?  He guarantees it is 100% plant based.

I pushed him for more information on the process and planning that he put into his 100% plant based mashed potatoes, but all Dr. Foold would say is it is proprietary and he was not able to release the details.

He did say that in order to keep with the 100% plant based guarantee, you are not allowed to add any butter or sour cream to the potatoes.   “Salt and pepper are okay to add for taste,” he added.

Although I am sure the 100% plant based mashed potato is going to revolutionize the world, I was super excited to get a look at his next project.  He told me it was top secret but I could let our readers know that it is something that will go great with his 100% plant based mashed potatoes.  After pushing him some more he told me it is a beef that has been fed 100% plant based foods and therefore the beef its self is 100% plant based. Brilliant!  A plant based machine that converts plants to usable beef, pork, lamb, chicken and other proteins.  I can’t wait to try it!
