According to Wikipedia, TikTok is a short-form video hosting service, owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. It shows short videos (3 seconds up to a minute) of users doing almost whatever they want.  They include dancing, food, pranks and just about anything you can imagine.

Recently, there has been a rash of TikTok Challenges, and many would say are just plain dumb!  Here are a few for you to decide what you think about:

Hole in one challenge

No golf isn’t the focus, even though the golf ball is.  Challengers use a golf ball to place it in holes that are not made for golf balls.

Death Dive

Challengers dive from extreme heights into water trying to prove….. who knows what they are trying to prove!

The NY Times

They came up with what they think are some of the craziest challenges. Here is what they put on the list description isn’t necessary for most of these:

• NyQuil Chicken or Sleepy Chicken- don’t try this at home!
• Gorilla Glue girl- Gorilla Glue is not meant for your hair, although she did get over $20,000 for her efforts.
• Several Teeth challenges- What, make you own teeth, Vampire teeth, uhhh, no thank you!
• Corn Cob Challenge- This one should be tied to some of the teeth stories because if you try to eat spinning corn on the cob, you may need to see a dentist afterwards.

Of course, there are many other disgusting

“challenges” that may land you in jail or worst in a hospital bed or a funeral home.
