Every year, the Montana Attorney General's office teams up with the Montana Highway Patrol and Stockman Bank to promote public service and highlight law enforcement in our community.

The contest is open to elementary school students throughout Montana.

Students are encouraged to submit artwork that shows their appreciation for Montana law-enforcement officers.

This is the fourth year that the contest has taken place in Montana.

At the Highway Patrol, we look forward to working with Attorney General Knudsen on this poster contest every year. It’s a great opportunity for us to connect with students on what it means to us to be a law enforcement officer. The showing of support also means a lot to our troopers, MHP Colonel Kurt Sager said.
