Great Falls Man Recognized As Local Hero For Amazing Act of Kindness
Now, THIS is the type of story we need in our lives, right? Recently, we've been covering a variety of stories ranging involving law enforcement and criminal activity.
And don't me wrong, our law enforcement has been on point as of late but this time, we're celebrating a hero citizen who is being recognized by Great Falls police.
How To Help Police in Great Falls
For some people, helping the police means providing tips to help solve a crime or something similar. But sometimes, helping police can simply mean being a good person and helping your fellow Great Falls citizens.
"Recently, Nathaniel C became gravely concerned when he witnessed a woman driving with two small children unrestrained in the vehicle," Great Falls police shared in a post, "Nathaniel posted a video of the incident to a local Facebook page and sent the video to us privately.

"When he understood that our page is not monitored 24 hours a day, and the message likely would not be seen until the next day, he called the non-emergency dispatch line. Officer Ritton understood Nathaniel's concern and attempted to locate the owner of the vehicle."
According to the post, Great Falls police said they weren't able to track down the owner of the vehicle. As Nathaniel's post continued to draw more eyeballs, he eventually found a way to connect with the driver.
What he did next will absolutely warm your heart.
Acts of Kindness in Great Falls
Once Nathaniel was able to track down the driver, Great Falls police shared he did something super kind.
"Nathaniel then did something uber generous, he bought and delivered two new car seats for the woman, so her children may travel safely," Great Falls police shared.
"We honor Nathaniel as a Citizen Hero. May we all have the same level of concern, compassion, and generosity for our fellow community members."

With so much going on in the news, often with controversial narratives (guilty), it's nice to hear something so positive happening here in our community. Hopefully, we'll continue to hear more stories like these because let's be real: we need it.
Shout to Nathaniel for exemplifying what the Great Falls is all about.
