One of Montana’s Largest Drug Busts Just Closed in Court

Crime doesn't pay in Montana and never will. No matter how far ahead of law enforcement criminals might think they are, the law always catches up.

And recently, the law just closed the book on one of the largest drug busts ever in Montana's history.

If it weren't for the work of law enforcement, there's no telling how bad this situation could have gotten. When you're dealing with two individuals who are arguably some of the biggest drug dealers in Montana, time is of the essence - especially when they're dealing some of the most dangerous and addictive drugs on the street.

Methamphetamine and fentanyl.

According to the DEA, fentanyl is "approximately 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more potent than heroin as an analgesic."

The drug can be snorted, smoked, swallowed, and even consumed via patches. The worst part is that all it takes is a single dose no larger than the tip of a pencil to get high... and to overdose.

The DEA says the dangerous drug has several street names including "China Girl, Dance Fever, King Ivory" and several others.

Montana Drug Dealers And Methamphetamine

A majority of us have heard about the dangers of methamphetamine. Shoot, it was the entire premise of one of the most popular shows in Breaking Bad. And while the show did what it could to show the dangers and downfalls of meth addicts, it didn't show us just how bad it can get for meth addicts.

According to the DEA, meth is highly addictive and for addicts, that typically means consuming higher doses. Those higher doses can result in stroke, heart attack, and even multiple organ problems due to "overheating."
