Nabbed after months on the run

a 37 year old man on the run since August of last year has been recaptured here in Cascade County. Scott Weckesser walked away from the Great Falls Pre release center August 14, 2021.

Weckesser was serving time on felony theft conviction back in 2019. He's facing new charges today that include obstructing a police officer and disorderly conduct. Details of his capture have not been released. He is being held without bond in the Cascade County Jail.
