It’s Officially Time To Thank A Montana Landowner
There are all sorts of things to love about Montana, and I've shared plenty of them with you before. From our view of the Northern Lights to our law enforcement to the great outdoors, there is a lot to love about Montana but there is one thing I appreciate as much as the rest:
Showing respect to our landowners.
Thank A Montana Landowner
One of Montana's richest pastimes is hunting. There's a lot of positive things to be said about the hunting culture in Montana, whether it's the respect and culture that's passed down from generation to generation, or the people who provide the land to hunt on.
Montanans now have a chance to show their appreciation according to an announcement from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks.
"Much of Montana is privately owned, and so hunting success here involves working with landowners to get access," Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks said in their statement, "As you reflect on last year’s hunting season, it's a great opportunity to say thanks to the landowners who have provided you with access."

Montana FWP is now accepting submissions for their Thank A Landowner campaign, which gives Montanans a chance to extend their thanks to those who made hunting season possible.
"The FWP Thank a Landowner web portal is a great way to reach out to landowners and show your gratitude for the opportunities they offer," Montana FWP said in their statement.
"Hunters can submit thank-you notes and photos through the portal. FWP staff will collect photos and letters and mail them to landowners this spring."

Montana FWP says more than 600 hunters submitted their thanks last year using the portal. Learn more about how you can submit HERE. You have until March 15th to get your submissions in.
