March 20th was the official first day of spring in the northern hemisphere.

For the most part, temperatures have been pretty on track with the average, but as we look at the week of March 24th, conditions are expected to be absolutely beautiful.

Spring In Montana

We know all too well that spring weather here in Montana is a bit of a roller coaster ride.

One day, we'll be in the 60s, and the next, snow and cold will settle in.

Oh, and let's not forget about the wind here in Central Montana; that's almost enough to drive you mad some days.

Montana Weather Forecast

High pressure will be the main talking point as we look toward the week of March 24th.

As high-pressure rebuilds to our south and west, temperatures are expected to climb well into the 60s.

Some forecast models hint that we might break the low 70s by Wednesday.

A few weeks later, weather systems will try to move through during the later half of the week, which could lead to a few isolated showers from time to time.

But overall, next week is looking wonderful!

If you've been waiting for some nicer weather to get out and play around the golf or do some fishing, next week is the week to do it.
